    Flowers.
It's really blooming marvellous what a flower can convey
    Sometimes when you are lost for words and don't know what to say;
Flowers speak of welcome, they can speak of love and grief,
Of life and death and comfort,of hope and of belief.
Flowers are prophetic like the darling buds of May,
The heady scent of lilac tells us summer's on it's way.
The pansies cheerful faces as they look towards the sun,
Adaisy's folding petals saying "Once more day is done."
Aflaming coloured climber delighting one and all
Ahaven for the blackbirds that share the garden wall.
As hollyhocks and fragrant stock stand reaching for the sky
The buddleias and asters attract the butterfly.
A visual recollection with plants from far off places
The fragrant sweet reminder of treasured long gone faces.
A time of new significance, the blossom at it's prime,
A garden of remembrance that's stood the test of time.
With any growing work of art your faith is all you need,
Amazing how much beauty comes from just one tiny seed.
Do step into your garden as it's bursting into bloom,
It's joyous floriferous heights will soon dispel all gloom.
